Town of Dutton Wastewater Treatment Testimonial

The Town of Dutton began using BioLynceus® ProBiotic Scrubber® II to help address grease buildup in its wastewater collection system and lift station.

Before treatment, grease accumulation was a recurring maintenance concern.

To improve conditions, the town began applying ProBiotic Scrubber® II within the collection lines and at the lift station.

Visible Grease Reduction in Two Weeks

According to town officials, grease buildup at the lift station was visibly reduced within approximately two weeks of beginning treatment.

The biological treatment program was continued as part of the town's wastewater maintenance strategy.

Reducing Lagoon Odors

Each spring, the town also applied ProBiotic Scrubber® II directly to its older two-cell wastewater lagoon system.

During these applications, the town observed a noticeable reduction in wastewater odors.

Continuing Treatment in the New Wastewater System

The town expects the biological treatment program to help reduce future grease accumulation in the lift station and collection lines while supporting biological performance in the new lagoons.

Town officials also intend to use ProBiotic Scrubber® II as part of their long-term strategy for managing lagoon sludge and maintaining treatment efficiency.
