Dairy Waste Lagoon Testimonial

Legendairy Holsteins, LLC has been using ProBiotic Scrubber® I (PBI) for 9 years. Due to dairy market conditions during those 9 years, a competitor’s product was used for 2 of those years. The decision was made to try a cheaper product, unfortunately to the detriment of the dairy lagoon. At the end of those two years, the use of BioLynceus ProBiotic Scrubber® I was resumed.

Prior to the cheaper product, the dairy lagoon was clean with very few solids. While using the cheaper product, the lagoon condition deteriorated drastically. Upon resuming the use of ProBiotic Scrubber® I, the solids began to decrease, albeit at a slower pace, due to previous deterioration.

Currently, the solids continue to be kept at a minimum with the use of ProBiotic Scrubber® I. As lagoon solids remain at reduced levels, pumping lagoon water to evaporative basins is a much more efficient process, thereby maintaining appropriate lagoon levels.

Additionally, due to urbanization, odor is a concern. Upon resuming use of ProBiotic Scrubber® I, odor reduction was detected immediately.

Due to the effectiveness of PBI and the careful attention of BioLynceus® representatives, Legendairy Holsteins, LLC will continue using the product in years to come.
