How to Control H₂S Corrosion

ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC Is The Solution For Reducing H₂S Corrosion

At BioLynceus®, our team is constantly striving to enhance our product line. Recently, this effort has developed ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC to eliminate the production of hydrogen sulfide and sulfuric acid in wastewater streams.

For ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC to be effective, strategic dosing and delivery points are located within the sewer system. Specific protocols are determined to optimize the transit time and delivery of the product into the system.

BioLynceus® works with the customer to determine optimal dosing and application rates for treatment optimization.

When dosing ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC into wastewater where hydrogen sulfide is present, a site specific strategy is implemented to assure product efficacy in the system where H2S is problematic.

BioLynceus® works closely with each site team to establish implementation and installation criteria.

What You Can Expect When Treating With ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC:

As ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC is dosed into the system the material begins to improve the environment that is causing the H2S build-up. Improvement in the wastewater debris that collects in the collection and auxiliary systems is mitigated.

The contaminant of H2S that encourages corrosion is reduced. The photos below are from a line that was replaced where ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC was used in one line, but not in the other. The Treated line shows a reduction of build-up of material on the line.

No Treatment
With Treatment

ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC mitigates the material in the collection, sewer, lift station, wet well and related system areas. The material in ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC in non-corrosive and does not use any material that will negatively impact either the wastewater system or the related collection and sewer equipment.

ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC is the registered product of BioLynceus
