How to Treat and Remove H₂S Odor

ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC Is The Solution For Reducing Odors Related To Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S)

BioLynceus® has the experience of over seventeen years of using our proven technology to resolve odor and H2S challenges.

Our customers have been using our programs to manage a variety of issues, including the off-gassing of sewer, collection lines and industrial and wastewater treatment facilities.

Our expertise and ability to build proprietary hydrogen sulphide scrubber and removal blends give us the capacity to address any challenge related to noxious odors.

Testing for Hydrogen Sulphide is the best way to determine the levels of H2S and measure the success of ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC in H2S removal.

We do not subscribe to the philosophy of hiding hydrogen sulphide odors, rather we address the bio-dynamic challenges and the root cause of the contributing offenders.

We have over seventeen years of tested applications that work for treating standard odor and wastewater hydrogen sulphide issues. Our product is designed to prevent the build-up of H2S and off-gasing that contribute to complaints about odor.

BioLynceus® specializes in providing solutions for the reduction and prevention of H2S. With ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC preventing and solving your hydrogen sulfide issues is simplified over alternative odor and H2S solutions.

The application of  ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC helps to reduce the odors caused by hydrogen sulphide producing bacteria.

While not every site is set-up do testing for hydrogen sulphide, the sites that have conducted specific testing have demonstrated:

  • Testing showed the use of ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC Reduced H2S from 1000 ppm to less than 10 ppm.
  • In variable testing (testing equipment was moved periodically to other sites) the implementation rates demonstrated a reduction of over 300 ppm to zero ppm.
  • In a test where an alternate program was in place the measured data demonstrated over 100 ppm. When the program was discontinued the H2S ppm was raised to over 700 ppm. When the ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC was implemented the measured rate was less than 10 ppm.
  • With the introduction of ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC customers are realizing a drop in H2S from 80 to 90%. This initial reduction continues as measured by our clients is continued even with temperature swings in the system from 52 degrees F to over 87 degrees F. Today, the customer is still demonstrating below 10 ppm of H2S.

BioLynceus® provides a proven H2S removal technology for H2S and odor control issues, whether the problems are in wastewater treatment facilities, wet wells, collection or sewer lines, forced or gravity fed mains or lift stations.

ProBiotic Scrubber® OCC has been tested in a variety of plants and systems throughout the country in a diverse environments.

BioLynceus® has been treating for H2S and odor control since 1994. Our customers find a tremendous benefit in the reduction of noxious odors created by stagnant wet wells, forced mains and anaerobic wasting facilities.
