Sludge Reduction Testimonial

As the Del Norte wastewater operator, I started using ProBiotic Scrubber® I in our sewage treatment plant. I have noticed several improvements since then.

The most immediate was the reduction in duckweed. I can control duckweed by simply adding ProBiotic Scubber® I. I usually go to the inflow and add a bit more PBI and in a few days the duckweed is gone.

Algae blooms are nearly a thing of the past. They used to be a major problem and now they are really of no concern.

I am most pleased with our rate of compliance. When I use ProBiotic Scrubber® I and run the aerators at full speed I get out of compliance. I have found that by using PBI and slowing the aerators to a minimum I get back into compliance right away.

This has been a good thing both from the compliance standpoint and the money standpoint. I am saving about $800 per month in electricity bills. This savings alone more than offsets the cost of the product.

There is more. Our BODs are also lower. I am running about 20 points lower per month then records of past years indicate.

I am continuing to use ProBiotic Scrubber® I and I hope that we may be able to dodge the sludge cleaning company altogether.
